A great song sung and perfomed by Kishore da with Vyjayantimala. There is a very interesting story behind the lyrics of this song. Shankar Jaikishan had promised Shailendra Singh that they would recommend him to directors and some producers to write some lyrics for their films but they didn’t kept their promise.
After few day Shailendra sent them a note with the lines, “Chhoti Si Yeh Duniya Pehchaane Raaste Hain Kahin To Miloge Phir Poochhenge Haal”. Shankar-Jaikishan realized what the message meant and said sorry to him and that’s how this song was composed.
